Borek Sipek Set of 8 Dora Dining Chairs for Driade Aleph 1991

Set of 8 dining chiars, model dora, designed by the czech architect and designer borek sipek in 1991 for driade aleph italy. The chairs come from mr. Theodossiou, who was the importer of driade and the co-founder of scarabas. Besides that he was an admirer and collector of borek sipek. Six chairs are as new with their original scarabas boxes. The other 2 were only used as showroom models and almost as new. These postmodern chairs are made of solid cherry wood and have a black leather seat. Unique design with many beautiful details. Borek sipek (1949-2016) was known for his individual, unusual, colourful and rich style, experimenting with unexpected and usually opulent forms. The chairs are in excellent condition.
