Carafe in orange colored crystal of saint-louis model bristol ampère 1930 overlay

This superb decanter is lined and cut crystal of saint-louis. Extremely rare, it is the bristol model. The overlay technique is a specialty of st. Louis: a first transparent crystal parison is covered with a second orange parison, then it is cut to reveal the underlying crystal. This model is found in the saint-louis catalogue of 1930 under the name ampere decorated with size no. 10562, then this model will be called bristol. With a subtle orange hue, this decanter is decorated with a regular cut in flat ribs. The cap is also lined orange and cut. Unsigned, it is in very good condition and measures 32 cm X 10 cm. I report scratches of use and a slight deposit at the bottom.
