Magnificent pair of vintage chairs from the 50s, in the style of the french designer jacques hitier, a major figure in post-war modernist furniture. Their minimalist and structured design evokes the rockabilly spirit and the iconic lines of school or industrial furniture of this period. Black tubular metal frame, patinated by time. Black skai seats: one in very good condition, the other with two small discreet tears without affecting use. Bright red/beige skai backrests, well stretched and in good condition, fixed by black upholstery nails which accentuate their organic shape evoking a heart or a butterfly. Slender design, thin slightly inclined legs, very graphic. Perfect for a retro decor, an office corner, a dining room or a shop with a vintage touch dimensions (per chair): total height: 84 cm seat height: 44 cm width: 42 cm depth: 47 cm approximate weight: 4.5 kg per chair condition: good vintage condition.
