The pot holder is in perfect condition, no accidents, no cracks or chips. It appears to have never been used. It is made of glazed terracotta, with a shiny moss green enamel on the inside, the exterior having been left matt, and scratched with black, in the vertical direction. The scratches create a dynamic and nervous relief, which catches the light nicely, a bit like a painting by pierre soulages. Between the scratches, we can see the raw terracotta. The green of the interior enamel appears softer in reality than in the photos, which slightly modify the intensity. Inside the pot, the diameter at the neck is 12.5 cm, the height is 12 cm, and the bottom is approximately 7 cm. Very pretty molded ceramic production from the 1950s.
