Exceptional and very complete table and reception service in Limoges porcelain, decorated and distributed by the prestigious Maison Charles Blancher & Cie, established at 10 rue de Paradis in Paris at the beginning of the 20th century. This service (circa 1910-1920) perfectly illustrates the transition between the Belle Époque and Art Deco. It is distinguished by extra-fine white porcelain, a very delicate scalloped design, and a frieze of laurel leaves gilded with fine gold (decor number 2052). Inventory (76 pieces): Table service: 10 dinner plates (Ø 24 cm), 12 soup plates, 12 dessert plates. Shaped pieces: 1 sauce boat, 1 large salad bowl (Ø 25 cm), 1 large oval platter (L 41 cm), 2 round platters (Ø 28 and 31 cm), 2 vegetable dishes, 2 mounted platters, 2 soup tureens with lids (one handle repaired on one). Coffee/tea service: 1 large coffee pot (H 22 cm), 1 matching sugar bowl, 8 cups and 12 saucers. Condition: Superb state of preservation. The whiteness is brilliant and the gilding is beautifully preserved, reflecting the quality of the work of Maison Blancher. Note: one handle damaged on one of the soup tureens. A rare set due to its completeness, ideal for large festive tables or collectors of Parisian table art.
