A beautiful pair of double candlesticks made of pressed moulded glass, dating from the 1930s-1940s. Each piece features a U shape with two symmetrical ribbed arms resting on a massive octagonal base. The candle cups, also octagonal in shape, fully embody the Art Deco decorative vocabulary. The glass, with a slightly smoky hue, offers a lovely transparency with subtle reflections characteristic of the pressed moulding of the era. The thick, solid base ensures optimal stability. The condition is good, with slight signs of wear and a patina consistent with their age, which are guarantees of authenticity for these vintage pieces from the 1930s.
