The curule seat (in Latin sella curulis, from currus, "chariot") is a symbol of power in ancient Rome on which magistrates could sit. Thonet made it from 1900 in several versions under the name "loveseat". Here we have the Loveseat N°2 (or N°6602), one of the most sober, completely original.
