Large Art Nouveau beard plate – Faience from Lorraine – Guaranteed enamels L.B –

Large antique shaving dish in faience from Lorraine, Art Nouveau period (circa 1900–1915). Superb Japonese-style decoration with cherry blossoms and a bird, on a cracked turquoise blue background. Mark on the back: “Émaux garantis L.B déposés – Lorraine France”. Dimensions: 28 X 23 X 8 cm. Very good overall condition for its age: no cracks or chips, only the normal crazing of the glaze and slight wear on the underside. A beautiful decorative piece, ideal for a collection or vintage / Art Nouveau bathroom decor.
