Stamped "made in England by Johnson Bros" (1883-2003, Staffordshire factory renowned for the quality of its productions -- from 2003, production was relocated to China and the name "Johnson Brothers" ceased to be used in 2015). "The old mill" collection produced between 1952 and 1977. Blue decoration on creamy white according to 19th century English "transferware": finely detailed romantic landscape.
