Venetian Murano glass vase – 1960's/1970's

2567 - vintage, very decorative and unique, this red and orange blown murano glass vase from the famous venetian glass art workshops in italy. Made in the 1960's-1970's. It is twisted with ovoid serrated neck forming visually a beautiful and large flower of a brilliant red to a nice orange to colorless tone towards its base whose veins emphasize each petal. Pasted label marked "piece executed by venetian master glassmakers". In good condition, without cracks or chips, not scaled with just an old trace of glue above the label not removed during washing. Height 290 mm X 193 mm. Weight 1650 g. Neat and tracked shipment. For information, in the thirteenth century, because of fires, the senate of venice decreed by obligation the glassmakers to install their furnaces on the island of murano thus making it easier to preserve the secrets of their manufacture often transmitted from father to son.
