Painted Louis XV style chest of drawers

Louis XV style chest of drawers in solid walnut that had been painted in clay tones, opening onto three drawers on the front, original brass handles. The lower crosspiece is hand-carved with a beautiful shell and foliage decoration, it rests on scrolling front legs called shell feet. The top has been stripped and lightened, all covered with a protective matte organic varnish.
