Beautiful earthenware jug from the Saint Clément factory (East of France), model "Cigognes", probably from the 1950s-60s. This iconic model features a superb relief decoration (slipware) depicting a stork in flight, bringing food to its chicks nestled in the nest. Typical glazing work in grey-green and sienna earth.
