2 painting of chinese watercolors of the nineteenth century. Mixed technique of ink and watercolor motif birds of paradise in nature and both signed. One image depicts a bird on a sakura or almond branch, the other another bird on a bamboo branch. The frames, as you can see in the pictures, are very old, perhaps period. Of great beauty and a traditional chinese style technique that was widely exported in its time and today are collector's items.
