"Due to the value of the item, collection in person is strongly recommended." Very beautiful pair of wall sconces in the Louis XVI style, late 19th century. Gilded chiselled bronze with a double patina, two arms in acanthus leaves, leaf-shaped bobeches, central urn adorned with garlands. Very careful and detailed chiselling work. Electrified, functional. Standard E14 sockets. Sold as a matching pair — complete pairs are rare and highly sought after by collectors and decorators. Sold in its original condition, uncleaned patina.
