Period: c. 1960s/70s. These catchalls are very decorative. The smallest dish is square and floral in shape, while the largest is oval with scalloped edges. They are made with transparent coloured enamels that have been applied to a copper base. The colours range from gold, greens, and blues in the background, to which opaque pink "drops" of enamel have been added. They are probably from Limoges or Majorca, where a long-standing tradition of enamelling on copper exists. These types of objects were made in the 60s/70s. Condition: generally good condition. The smallest has a chip on the edge, but due to the underlying copper colour, it is not very visible and blends into the golden hues. The largest has a small chip on the edge. There are small flakes on the underside. (see photos). Dimensions: Oval: 30 cm long, 17 cm wide, 2.8 cm high. Square: 20.5 x 20.5 cm, 4.5 cm high.
