Becoming rare to find, purely French and dating from the 19th century to early 20th century, here is: 1 lot of 5 deep plates - decoration of bindweed flowers and birds - border decorated with small flowers - cream colour and dark Siena earth - stamp of the Onnaing factory. (founded in 1821 in Northern France - production ceased in 1938 and liquidated in 1947). Dimensions: diameter 22 cm - height approximately 3.5 cm - weight 1 kg. Good vintage condition: superb patina of time but note the cracks on 2 plates and some minor wear of the glaze on the edges - (please examine the photographs carefully). This century-old tableware is becoming increasingly rare to find due to the cessation of activity of the famous French pottery factories of the 18th and 19th centuries. Note that the marks of time and use add to its charm. Perfect for the table but only the 3 intact ones, to start a collection of antique plates, as decoration in your china cabinet... Care: hand wash only.
