The Zeta armchair belongs to that generation of seats from the 1970s that reinvented the cantilever with an almost graphic gesture. Paul Tuttle, an American designer trained in Switzerland, designed its structure in 1967: two curved chrome steel blades in a Z shape that support a suspended seat, without massive legs or unnecessary artifice. The cognac leather, re-stretched and nourished, conforms to this architecture with soft folds and a warm patina typical of pieces that have lived. This type of signed armchair, long overshadowed by the great names of Scandinavian design, has seen a true resurgence in popularity among enthusiasts of 1970s furniture in recent years. Stable structure, polished chrome, good overall condition.
