Octagonal mirror 58 x 38 moulded wood frame

Charming mirror with a varnished solid wood frame with moldings, with "cut" corners reminiscent of the art deco style. It has a hook at the back. The bottom is made of compressed wood. The mirror is in very good condition, no shine or scratch, not even a lack on the tain. The frame is in good general condition, solid, but does not hide its age and the patina that goes with it: various marks, scratches, droplets of white paint on the top of the frame (not visible once the mirror is suspended) and many gaps or abrasions on the dark varnish leaving the wood bare in places. On this kind of mirror, the different parts of the frame are linked by some kind of metal staples and glue I imagine, but the glue no longer works after so many years, so I chose to reinject strong glue from the back at the joints to solidify everything. It is 58 cm high and 38 cm wide, including frame. The thickness of the wooden frame is 3 cm. The mirror part measures 45 cm by 26 cm. It weighs just over 2.7 kg.
