Louis XVI style bedside table, Carrara marble and mahogany

Louis XVI style bedside table. The top is adorned with a beautiful Carrara marble with two rounded corners. The marble edges are carved and called cavet marble. The marble top is not fixed to the table (see photos). The top of the bedside table is made of veneered wood, while the fluted and carved legs are made of mahogany-finished beech. It has two immaculate drawers, each measuring 30 cm wide X 20 cm deep X 8 cm high, fully functional with their original handles in gilt bronze color and their beautiful dovetail joints. All original brass leg caps are present. The bedside table is in very good original and vintage condition. Very light signs of use on the edges of the drawers and the front (see photos). Light signs of use on the marble top (see photos). A tiny, barely visible mark is located on the edge of the right rounded corner (see photo next to the 1 cent coin for perspective) and on the left back edge (see photo). Patina of age, as expected. Solid and stable coin. All photos were taken outdoors in natural light. Therefore, colors may vary depending on brightness, reflections, angle and perspective.
