French chess table in wood and glass 1960s

A low chess table in the style of Pierre Chapo with an interesting corner construction. It is also a very heavy and stable chess table (not unimportant) made of blond solid elm. As always, chessboards give a special touch to the piece mainly because of its pattern of blocks in contrasting colors but also to pretend that someone is very smart. This particular table can also be used as a normal coffee table as the top is protected by a glass plate. The blond wood really jumps out and brings a certain freshness to the room.
