Chinese side table in Elm (Bedside or Tea stand), late 19th century.

A side table that is both understated and elegant, with a beautiful design whose minimalist lines undeniably evoke the Ming style. One immediately notices the finesse of the lines in a work that aims to be simple yet refined. Only small carved dragons in the openwork sections beneath the tabletop delicately enhance the whole. Some remnants of lacquer testify to its history and age, seemingly having preserved it carefully.
