Extremely rare work by the painter Ferruccio Ferri (Fauglia 1911 - Pisa 1989) from a private collection. This painting, dating from the Syracusan period, is signed and dated 1953. It was exhibited by the artist at the VI Gulf Exhibition of La Spezia. Oil on canvas, 98 cm X 73 cm. The works of this artist are extremely rare. The canvas is perfectly consolidated. No further loss of pictorial material is expected; we preferred not to proceed with a restoration. Ferruccio Ferri had an intense artistic and educational career, participating in numerous national and international exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale and the Rome Quadriennale.
