Vintage chair by Gérard Guermonprez, Godfrid edition, circa 1960

Very beautiful and very original chair called "rockabilly" around 1960. Model by designer Gérard Guermonprez published by René Godfrid, characterized by a very minimalist spindle base and a very slightly reclining backrest for more comfort (see photos). The structure is made of beech wood in a pretty honey shade, the seat and backrest have been completely redone by an upholsterer especially for the sale and covered with a smooth duck blue velvet (pulls a little more on the green than in the photos) very trendy. The screws of the backrest are in brass. Height at the backrest 81 cm, seat 46 cm, width 46 cm, depth 55 cm. In perfect condition, this pretty chair will be a nice decorative element in a bedroom or dressing room but can also be used as a comfortable office chair for teleworking.
