Ancient oval window in oak

Former oval window in oak / period early 19th. Recovered from a burgundian mansion built in 1830. Beautiful set opening - sleeping. She underwent a little makeover ! Completely stripped to find the original channel, it was simply tinted natural oak color. The latch is original but the mass graves are new. One of the glasses is cracked and the putty keeping the windows is a little tired/see pictures. The wood is healthy but the frame (sleeping) is a bit vermoulu on the top and bottom / see pictures. On the opening the lower part (middle) is a little dug /minimal see pictures. With its beautiful patina, it can be used as an accessory for interior or exterior decoration. Beautiful decorative room ideal for a classic atmosphere, or countryside. Can easily be turned into a mirror. Size. Sleeping / width 69.5 X height 58.5 X thickness 4 cms. Opening / width 61.5 X height 50.5 X thickness 2.5 cms.
