Set of Playmaker lamps by Dal Lago & Sereni for Bilumen, 1970

Rare set of Playmaker model table and floor lamps in chrome. Designed by Adalberto Dal Lago and Rocco Sereni for Bilumen in 1970, these lamps were produced as both floor and table lamps in several colours: silver, white, and brown. This is a distinctive and very well-designed pair of lamps, highly adjustable and perfect as reading lamps. The Playmaker is best used with a mirrored bulb, which creates various light patterns when illuminated. The overall condition of both lamps is very good with minor signs of use. Both lamps are incredibly rare, especially as a set in the same colour. Considerable effort was made to find and reunite these two lamps: the floor lamp was located in Prato, Italy, and the table lamp in London, England.
