Large tower lamp base - african art - unique hand-carved piece - 1950s

Unique piece african ethnic art large tripod lamp base in the shape of a toe entirely carved by hand 1950s superb creation from african folk art of the 50s, finely carved from a unique piece of wood, in the standards of works from this period, designed with a keen eye for detail and undeniable dexterity. These local productions were most of the time produced in several copies, each one however being perfectly unique, with numerous variations. The whole thing is in excellent condition, with a beautiful patina of age.
