Elegant and large circular bowl / centrepiece from the Art Deco period (circa 1930), with a diameter of 28 cm. This hollow glass piece, made from moulded and pressed glass, stands out for its superb azure blue hue and its textured work combining transparency and frosted areas. The rim is beautifully adorned with a relief frieze depicting stylised pansy flowers and their leaves. The centre of the bowl features a hypnotic geometric pattern of water beads arranged in concentric circles. Artist / Creator: Anonymous piece made in the style of René Lalique (or Verlys / Pierre d'Avesn). A luminous and decorative piece, ideal for dressing a sideboard or dining table. Condition note: Presence of a black hair, 1 small chip on the edge of the foot and bubbles (see photos).
