Vintage chest of drawers with compass legs, light oak, 1960s

Beautiful and original small storage unit from the 60s, in light oak, with a magnificent base. It is originally a sewing machine unit that was converted. Very nice vintage condition. Healthy, stable and solid furniture, weighs a lot. It has been sanded and protected with light oak oil. The drawers slide well, a geometric floral fabric has been applied. The cupboard opens and closes well with a pretty green and original brass handle. Be careful, all these vintage pieces of furniture keep traces of their previous lives despite a long and careful renovation. Note that the top can be raised and slid to the back of the unit following its former function. The yellow period suede bottom has been added to use the full surface following its former function.
