Glazed ceramic vase signed Roland Brice circa 1950

This large, colourful glazed ceramic vase was designed and produced by roland brice in the 1950s in his studio in biot, a small town near vallauris in the south of france. Roland brice was a former student of fernand léger. He became his close friend and ceramicist from 1949, making many pieces in his studio in biot until the end of the 1960s, while exploring his own creations, inspired by the work of fernand léger. This collector's item is in perfect condition.
