Antique dining table, or draper's table - drapière - from the 1900s, originating from Beaujolais. We appreciate the unique craftsmanship of the wood, with the top made of two planks featuring joints that provide great durability over time. The double-beaded finish on the side of the top gives a beautiful finish to the whole piece. The base is made of turned wood with a thick apron accommodating two large drawers with brass handles (which do not appear to be original). The base is fully dowelled. The wood has a rich hue, complemented by a very beautiful and unique patina from use. We love the grain and the undeniable quality of the walnut, which adds significant value to the piece. There are defects and small marks in the wood due to its age. Please refer to the numerous photos. - Dimensions - L 190 x D 85 x H 79 cm Thickness of the top - 4 cm Height under the apron - 57.5 cm Usable width between the legs - 165 cm Dimensions of the drawers - L 57 x D 66 x H 7 cm
