Stunning mid-century modern glass ceiling light by Kalmar (Austria, 1960s). Consists of 5 thick, textured Murano glass panels attached to a white metal base. Illuminates beautifully (see pictures). Great design & high quality. Cleaned, rewired (hardwired) and ready to use (compatible in all countries, Europe, US, etc.). Requires 4x standard E27 light bulbs. LED compatible. Width: 41 cm; depth: 41 cm, height (from ceiling): 13 cm. Quite heavy (9.3 kg !). Excellent vintage condition. Light wear and patina consistent with age and use on the metal elements. In order to guarantee a safe delivery, the ceiling light will be dissembled and professionally packed.
