Restored Art Deco bedside table or accent furniture

Here is an adorable accent or bedside table in pure Art Deco style: intricately designed legs, a door adorned with floral patterns carved into the wood, and a mix of straight and curved lines. This piece is made from solid oak, and the door features a delicate walnut veneer with stunning grain. It consists of a drawer above an open storage space, and a closed storage area behind a door. On the left, two small shelves on a rounded wooden background like a cloud allow for the display of lovely objects. The entire piece has been cleaned and sanded, then protected with a bio-sourced care oil (COV A+). The inside of the drawer has been lined with Italian paper featuring hot air balloon patterns. The original marble top, with grey veining and purple inclusions, has been cleaned and oiled. A versatile and easy-to-place piece that has proudly withstood the test of time. NB: this item is an antique sold second-hand and artisanally restored. It naturally shows irregularities as well as signs of age and use. This is precisely what gives it charm and a unique character. In particular regarding this piece: The back of the drawer shows some signs of woodworm. It has been treated against wood-boring insects, and the wood is now healthy. The front of the marble top shows signs of abrasion (see photographs).
