Two old cups in flamed sandstone, signed Charles Greber (France). A well-known ceramic artist, Charles Gréber (Beauvais 1853-1935, who retired in 1933) left a lasting mark on ceramics in Beauvais, France, and developed the family business, founded by his father in 1870, while making it famous. Among his many talents, he has produced a notable production of flamed sandstone with superimposed enamel drippings, in relief of animals or plants, as here with these cups. These two old art nouveau round cups are made of flaming sandstone, with a pretty leaf-shaped décor on the bottom. E-mail beautifully satiny, with beautiful brown and bronze tones, mixed with dark green and bluish touches. Beautiful quality set. "C.Greber" hollow signature. 20th century - circa 1910. Diameter: 13 cm - Height: 2 cm. Very nice condition of the two pieces, no cracks, no shrapnel. Note a small irregularity of manufacture on one. Sending fast and neat, in parcel followed Colissimo or Point Relay.
