Large Antique Tulip Glass – Late 19th/Early 20th Century. Height 18 cm, neck 10.5 cm, base 9 cm, elegant tulip shape on a baluster base. This type of glass was found on bourgeois tables in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, used either as a large water or beer glass, or as a serving container (celery, compotes, sweets). Today, it works wonderfully as a vase for a few flowers, as a tea light holder with dancing reflections, or simply as a decorative piece steeped in history. For a connoisseur, it also makes a witty gift: what could be more delightful than giving a large antique glass to serve beer in with elegance. It has the understated poetry of glasses that have seen family meals and entire seasons pass by, and it reinvents itself without losing its clarity. Price: €28. Keywords: antique glass, tulip, baluster, 19th and early 20th centuries, tealight holder, vase, beer, gift, decoration, tableware, flea market.
