Jean-paul guinegault was born at 7 rue jules chaplain, in paris in the 6th arrondissement, on january 4, 1918. His parents were bretons, originally from rennes. His father, georges, had worked on the violin, loved operas and poetry and was especially passionate about art drawing, especially for antique and live model.
