Mobach ceramic mirror Utrecht 1960s

This handmade ceramic wall mirror was crafted by the Utrecht-based Mobach studio, a name best known for artistic ceramics and utilitarian pottery. Mirrors from the studio are much less common on the market, making this example a particularly collectible object. The frame consists of individually shaped ceramic elements finished with a warm honey-yellow glaze. The subtle craquelure and slight colour nuances add depth and clearly show the artisanal character of the piece. These small differences make each mirror unique. With a diameter of 30 cm, the mirror has a modest size that is easy to combine in a gallery wall, hallway, bedroom or above a small piece of furniture. At the same time, the object has enough character to function as a decorative accent on its own. The original Mobach sticker on the back is still present and confirms its origin from the Utrecht studio. Diameter 30 cm, depth approximately 1.5 cm.
