Large Wall Lamp CHARTRES C-1648 by Willem Van Oyen For RAAK 1960

Large wall lamp model chartres c-1648 designed by willem van oyen for raak amsterdam in the 1960s. The name comes from the stained glass windows of the famous cathedral of chartres in france. An eye-catching design combining pieces of molten and colored and transparent glass with irregular shapes, sliced and in pieces on a reinforced frame. The sculptural finish of the glass creates a unique style especially when lit. Each piece is handmade and is unique. It has retained its original label. This piece is vintage and has traces of use, including stitching on the iron support. Works with an e27 bulb.
