Tiffany-style lamp in the shape of a snail.

Charming Tiffany lamp in Art Nouveau style shaped like a snail, from a collection in Spain from the 1980s. This lamp features a metal base with a textured dark patina finish, perfectly simulating the body of the snail and providing a very stable centre of gravity. The highlight of this piece is the shade made of hand-blown and hand-cut glass. It uses the classic copper foil technique (fine leaded). It combines opalescent white glass, sections in veined yellow tones, and a central detail in cobalt blue that surrounds a glass gem (cabochon) in bright amber. It emits a diffuse and very cosy glow. It is ideal as a nightlight, reading lamp for the living room, or accent light on a wooden shelf. Dimensions: 15 cm high, 20 cm long, and 12 cm wide.
