Key data. Typology: set of six wine glasses. Attributed manufacture: IVIMA (Marinha Grande). Origin: Marinha Grande, Portugal. Material: pressed green glass. Colour: emerald green. Decor: geometric relief in diamond point (Diamond Point). Style: geometric design inspired by Art Deco. Set: 6 pieces. Condition: perfect condition. Dimensions: height 12.5 cm · rim diameter 7 cm · base diameter 7 cm. Set of six antique Portuguese wine glasses made of green glass, originating from Marinha Grande, one of the most important historical centres of the Portuguese glassmaking tradition. The glasses feature a geometric relief in diamond point, formed by a network of diamonds covering the body. The design is complemented by an elegant stem with ornamental knot and a circular base decorated with radiating patterns. Due to their shape and manufacturing characteristics, these glasses are attributed to the production of IVIMA (Indústria Vidreira da Marinha Grande), linked to the Portuguese tradition of pressed glass with Diamond Point decor. Their intense emerald green, combined with the geometric relief, creates lovely light effects and gives the pieces a strong decorative presence, typical of vintage Portuguese glassware. With their dimensions, they are suitable for wine, port, or dessert wines, and are equally interesting as decorative objects or for a collection of antique glassware from Marinha Grande. Complete set of six pieces preserved in perfect condition. Cataloguing note: the attribution to IVIMA is based on stylistic and typological comparison; the pieces do not bear any visible manufacturer's mark.
