Mid-century modern sugar bowl, produced by HEFRA in Poland in the 1960s, made of brass coated with a layer of silver. The form is based on a perfect sphere, with a hemispherical, smoothly closed lid topped with a small handle of a gently flared shape. The whole is set on a flat, round base, ensuring stability and harmonious proportions. The silver here acquires a warm, slightly golden hue and a matte finish with subtle gloss on the raised parts. The lid is precisely cut to allow for the insertion of a spoon, and the surface is decorated with fine scratches and a natural patina typical of silver-plated items from this era. The construction is compact, with invisible joints and no signs of repair. Preserved in very good condition – only typical signs of gentle use and aging are visible, all elements remain original.
