Old column in majolica I.C.A.P Gualdo Tadino 1930s-1940s

Column in polychrome majolica and glazed with neo-Renaissance style decorations. The manufacturer's mark, ICAP Gualdo Tadino, is engraved under the base. ICAP (Industria Ceramica Angelo Pascucci) was a renowned kiln in Gualdo Tadino, active mainly between the 1920s and 1940s. Specialising in artistic majolica, it was known for producing ceramics in the traditional style of Gualdo Tadino, gold and ruby lustres, and replicas of antiques.
