This elegant antique candlestick is made of bronze. Dating from the 18th century, it is a Louis XIV style candelabrum: it has an octagonal shape, with a scalloped lower part and hand-chiselled details. With a beautiful golden hue, this torch has withstood the test of time and still offers a timeless decoration: grouped together for a château atmosphere, or on the table for a candlelit dinner. Dimensions: 24 cm in height X 13.5 cm. In generally good condition, I note signs of use such as scratches, dents, and traces of oxidation. This candlestick is slightly misaligned, the shaft is movable within the base, and it has a small hole in the socket.
