Vintage Italian barbotine grape plate – G.b.c. Made in Italy

Very pretty vintage Italian majolica dish, depicting a large leaf or bunch of grapes in beautiful shades of mauve pink. The relief decoration is particularly intricate, with the grape clusters modelled, the vine leaves glazed in green tones, and the branch forming an elegant handle. An original and charming piece, ideal as a serving dish, key tray, fruit bowl, or simply for decoration. The dish is signed on the back with a stamp bearing the crest "G.B.C. – Made in Italy". Overall in very good condition. Tiny chips may be present on the tips of the relief leaves, but they remain very light and discreet. No significant cracks or major chips. Length: 27 cm. Maximum width: 23.5 cm. Height of the dish: approximately 5 cm. Maximum height with the branch: 9 cm. Weight: 700 g.
