Superb buffet, vintage Art Deco sideboard from the 1940s, combining elegance, functionality, and refinement. This elongated piece captivates with its clean lines, remarkable woodwork, and sophisticated finishing details. Macassar wood veneer, with symmetrical chevron grain, enhanced by a glossy finish and black lacquered details on the structure and edges of the tops. Composed of three closed sections with two side compartments featuring shelves and five maple drawers with brass handles, and a central door with a marquetry pattern in geometric weaving with brass inserts. Tapered legs typical of mid-century design, finished with golden brass tips. Brass lock finishes, original keys, and a well-maintained patina testify to the craftsmanship quality of this piece.
