Large antique carved wooden desk in Renaissance style

Antique large desk in solid wood, probably walnut, in Renaissance / Henri II style dating from the late 19th century or early 20th century. It rests on four turned legs connected by a central stretcher, providing it with great stability and an elegant silhouette. The frieze is adorned with a decorative carved band that runs all around the top, adding a lot of character to the piece.
