Military fund for maritime transport to be restored

Maritime transport fund for illuminating grenades, which may date from the second world war. Original but to be restored. Indeed, it is in its juice, barely dusted: splinters and important gaps on the wood, the closing latches and hinges are rusty, one is even letting go, holes of tendrils (which I treated by generously brushing the set of white vinegar), nails that protrude, stains and various marks. But it is also a historical testimony: the inscriptions are still visible and there are still pieces of original labels. This box has an inner metal "coating", a kind of box in the box, easily removable... We still find this kind of crates easily but it is quite rare that they still contain this double metal box. It measures 43 cm by 33 cm for a height of 30 cm. It weighs in the 7 or 8 kg.
