Set of nine small flower frogs made of Puisaye stoneware, handcrafted, with glazes in shades of beige, brown, and gray-green. Also known as flower frogs or Kenzan. Their rounded shape, concentric circles, and 13 or 14 perforations give them a unique character. Each piece shows slight variations in shape and glazing. The principle is simple: place a flower frog at the bottom of a small dish containing water, then slide the stems into the perforations to create a light and balanced floral arrangement. A few flowers are enough to make a small bouquet in the spirit of Japanese ikebana. The dishes and flowers shown in the ambiance photograph are not included in the sale. In excellent vintage condition, shiny (see photos). Diameter of about 4 cm, height 2 cm, weight 40 g per piece. Unsigned pieces. Nine small pottery accessories for composing delicate bouquets.
