Elegant sideboard designed by Georges Frydman for the publisher EFA, emblematic of French modernism from the 1960s. The structure, with its clean lines, is made of teak and is accentuated by brushed aluminium uprights that highlight the composition. The façade is organised around two side storage spaces and a central module with three drawers, offering a graphic balance characteristic of Frydman's work. The whole rests on an aluminium base that conceals the legs, creating a particularly elegant suspended effect and enhancing the architectural aspect of the piece. It is also worth noting the high-quality craftsmanship in solid wood and thick veneer, far removed from the plywood productions often found in this type of furniture. A remarkable model of French design from the 1960s. 168x39 H57 cm.
