Christofle Silver and Ebony Teapot

Elegant oval teapot from the Christofle house, emblematic of the Modernist / late Art Deco style (mid-20th century). Its design is characterised by a round and smooth body in silver-plated metal enhanced with incised horizontal stripes around the edge. Notably, there is a spectacular half-moon handle in dark wood marked "ebony", providing an elegant contrast with the shiny silver while allowing for a pleasant and insulated grip. A matching fretel (lid knob) in ebony wood is also included.
