Glazed enfilade antique workbench – blue patina

This antique workbench stands out for its quaint charm and unique colour palette. Its irregular and vibrant blue patina reveals hints of rosy tones from its previous layers in places, creating a subtle and unexpected ensemble. The three glass doors, each fitted with its own latch, add a simple rhythm to the façade. They allow for the storage of dishes, books, or other collectibles. Inside, the raw wood contrasts with its patina and features a central shelf (varnished), adding depth and functionality. Carefully restored in my workshop in Provence, I operate under the name Une Hirondelle à l’atelier. My workshop specialises in characterful antique furniture, sourced from folk art or work furniture. Each piece is selected for its authenticity, restored without altering its essence, and designed to find a place in a contemporary interior.
